My name is Allison Shive and I am an Elementary Education Major from Denver, NC. I love Sigma Kappa because of the bonds you make with each sister and the opportunities it gives you to grow. It has allowed me to grow as a leader more than I ever expected personally and professionally. Being in a sorority has taken me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to be my best.
Executive Vice President, Vice President of Philanthropic Services
Hi! My name is Shelbey and I am Epsilon Alpha’s Executive Vice President and Vice President of Philanthropic Service. I am a 20-year-old Elementary Education Major, born October 17, here at Lenoir-Rhyne. In my free time I love playing Sims and watching Netflix. I joined Sigma Kappa because I love the tight bond you develop within the sisterhood. I value loyalty and friendship, and I have experienced both of those things here in Sigma Kappa.
Vice President of New Member Education
My name is Hailey Baskin and I am our chapter's current Vice President of New Member Education. I am a 21 year old Music Education Major who chose to be a part of Sigma Kappa because the sisters who welcomed me showered me with warmth and encouragement to grow into the kind of strong woman that I wanted to be. Since then, I have never lost that feeling and my personal values of Courage, Kindness and Faith can shine and be enhanced by Sigma Kappa's values. It's also amazing that my sisters don't mind my goofiness and support me whether it be attending my Choral Concerts, Symphonic Band Performances, or Marching Band half time shows!
Vice President of Finance
Kelsey is a junior from the Hickory area, majoring in elementary education. She joined our sisterhood in the Spring of 2016, and we are so grateful she did! Kelsey has served as our VPF for a full school year, and she shows no signs of slowing down. She is outgoing, funny, and a friend to everyone in the chapter.
Vice President of Membership
Hi, I am Hailey Gragg. Who am I? I am a legend! I am a junior biology major at Lenoir-Rhyne University. I was born and raised in the small town called Granite Falls, North Carolina. I love being outdoors and using Eno. I am apart of Sigma Kappa and I am their Vice President of Membership, sisterhood chairman, and social chairman. I love my sisters at Sigma Kappa and enjoy spending my time with them. The reason I joined Sigma Kappa was for their values and the “at home” feeling I had with them. I feel like I can be who I am, when I am around them and so can they. There is never a dull moment with my sisters and I would not want it any other way. A fun fact about myself is that I went diving with stingrays and sharks, and loved every minute of it! I also spent my sixteenth birthday in Disney World, and then that summer I went to Italy and Greece. #GoSK! - Hailey Gragg
Vice President of Programming
Hi! I'm Lindsay and I'm Epsilon Alpha's Vice President of Programming. I was born on January 27 on a snowy day. I am a sophomore studying Elementary Education. In my free time I love to play with my dog and hang out with friends. I believe that putting yourself out there is the best way to make new friends. As a commuter, I joined Sigma Kappa as a way to do just that. Sigma Kappa has helped me to expand my social circles and provide new experiences, and that's my favorite thing about being in a sorority.
Vice President of Communication, PR Chairman
My name is Hannah and I am a junior double-majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology. I joined Sigma Kappa last fall and have loved every minute since! Every day, I am so thankful for the people I have met and the opportunities given to me through Sigma Kappa, and becoming the VPC is one of my favorite moments with the chapter. Outside of the sorority, I love to write, drink coffee, compete with LR's debate team, and perform as part of LR's marching band and percussion ensemble. Most of all, I try my best to live every day with heart! <3
Vice President of Scholarship
My name is Kristina Staudt. I am sophomore nursing major here at Lenoir-Rhyne University. I am super excited to serve as Epsilon Alpha’s Vice President of Scholarship. I joined Sigma Kappa last fall to create bonds and to take part in a great sisterhood. I love Sigma Kappa’s values as well as our history. The bonds that I have made, I know will last a lifetime. I am so excited to say that I have sisters and that I love every single one of them. Sigma Kappa has also allowed me to grow as a leader. I never had a leadership position before this, but because of what SK has taught me, I know I will be a great VPS for this coming year. Thank you all for giving me this chance. :)
Panhellenic Delegate, VP Alumnae Relations
Hannah is a sophomore from Cowpens, South Carolina. She is studying History at LR, and hopes one day to become a High School level history teacher! This is her first year in Sigma Kappa, and has already done amazing things for our chapter. She is sweet, sassy, and full of hometown pride!
